The conference will be hosted April 8-10, 2015, in the capital of California, Sacramento! The Northern California Chapter of APCO will be hosting the conference in the heart of the State Capitol area, blocks from the Capitol building, Old Town Sacramento, the K Street Mall, IMAX Theater, the River Front, and more.
In addition to amenities and plenty of things to do within walking distance, Northern California is known for its rich history, beautiful weather, and proximity to everything. Within 2 hours of the state capitol, you could be in the Pacific Ocean, swimming in Lake Tahoe, hitting the slots in South Lake Tahoe, visiting the Wine Country of Napa Valley, or visiting 2 major theme parks, California’s Great America, and Six Flags Discovery Kingdom.
The Sacramento Convention Center will be Conference Central, with plenty of room for over 100 vendors, training sessions, keynotes, and outside there will be the largest collection of Command Vehicles in the state. The 7th annual Northern California Command Van Rally, which has been a joint effort of the California Fire Chiefs Association and the California Emergency Management Agency, has brought together over 30 vehicles from around the state, and speakers with international experience in emergency management and communications. For 2015, the vehicles will be on display during the WRC in the street immediately adjacent to the convention center, between the host hotel and the convention. The Command Van Rally will be open to all, WRC attendee or not.

Be sure to visit the WRC in 2014 first in Phoenix, AZ. The Western Region of APCO takes up over half the geographic US land mass, and it truly does take the involvement of everyone to make the region successful.
